The ChemFed programme:

The aim of the ChemFed programme is to help the Romanian federation to establish and develop new activities, and to strengthen its organisational capacity, in order that effectively to represent the interests of the Romanian chemical industry and to be able to join the other European federations in the European structures.
For achieving this objective, the manager of the ChemFed project attended two periods of internship; the first one at Cefic ( for more information go to www.cefic.be), the European organisation which encompasses all the federations from the E.U. countries and from the candidate countries, and the second one in France at U.I.C.( for more information go to www.uic.fr ), the French federation of the chemical industry, following which he has drawn up the Fepachim Development Project that is going to be considered by the federation’s statutory bodies. Also within the ChemFed project there were organised in Bucharest two meetings with European experts in Responsible Care and was identified and hired a manager of this initiative for the Romanian federation of the chemical industry Fepachim.
